Who Google Thinks I Am

Google's gathering and sorting methods do not involve computer programming publicly available.  I cannot write to them and say, please put me together in one place.

You can find me under Barbara Fass, although you will also see listings there under Barbara Fass Leavy  (Google knows more than it is admitting, and yes, even has one entry under Mrs. Peter Leavy).

You can find me as Barbara Fass Leavy.  Almost all of my professional writing is done under this name, as are lectures and other oral presentations I deliver to different groups.  Most of these have been to the members of the History Section of the Department of Psychiatry of the Weill Cornell Medical College.  I hold an honorary faculty appointment in the section, and Google has entries on talks I have delivered to its members.

You can find me as Barbara Leavy, the name I use on my website address, but usually confine to my personal life.

And, to complicate matters, in Yahoo's Ruth Rendell discussion group, I use the e-mail address, bfleavy@gmail.com. For reasons I do not quite understand, Google picks up some but not all of my postings to members of this group (it's not mine to reason why).  So there are listings on Google under bfleavy as well.
